My name is Jen Toyn, and ever since I was a little girl I have wanted to be an author. It started with terrible Harry Potter fanfictions written in a notebook in the park and uploaded to a fanfiction site. Now, I have written two novels. Neither ready for publishing, but I hope to change that.
I work part time as an education monitoring analyst, and I have also published an article in an academic journal, Appleby New Fair: Investigating Local Attitudes Towards a Gypsy, Roma and Traveller (GRT) Heritage Tradition in the Context of Legislative Change.
Aside from writing, I am also an avid Dungeons and Dragons fan, the forever DM of our group. I love creating intricate fantasy worlds, and putting my characters in difficult situations, much to the chagrin of my players!
