I’m chipping away at my manuscript, and my daily wordcount is well above par. Everything is going well. In fact, at this rate, I’ll have won NaNoWriMo by the end of the week.
However, the warnings of ‘sagging middle syndrome’ are certainly proving true. That is to say that writing the middle of your novel is really hard, especially if you’re a ‘pantser’. Much to my chagrin, I’ve had to do lots of planning and thinking in order to get the scenes right.
